Raffles American School is a learning community that empowers students to achieve their academic and life potential. RAS serves students Pre-K through 12th grade. Our rigorous and rich academic and co-curricular programs encourage student growth through a learning outcome approach, acknowledging multiple types of intelligence and paths to learning. Co-Curricular Activities: Our curriculum follows the Common Core Standards for Math and Language Arts, Next Generation Standards for Science, and the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards for Social Studies. In addition, our strong co-curricular program offers a large variety of activities to appeal to the interests of all students, such as sports, dance, music, and art.

Facilities: Our facilities include technology-integrated classrooms, science labs, visual art, dance and performing arts studios, as well as a performing arts center including a 800 seater auditorium and a black box theater. Our library caters toward students of various reading levels and abilities.

Library: Our dramatically terraced, open-concept library and media center at Raffles American School contains a multitude of seating options for casual reading, a formal Reading classroom, and a variety of study rooms that offer students an inspiring atmosphere in which to study, research, and collaborate. From Kindergarten to 5th Grade, as well as in the EIP, students visit the library at least once a week for reading-centric lessons and to exchange books. Students are able to borrow two to five books depending on their grade level and parents are able to check out two books as well.

Our Campus: The campus also features a host of athletic amenities including: Two separate indoor air-conditioned gymnasiums, an Olympic size swimming pool, a shallow training pool, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field, and a stadium which includes a second full-size soccer field, track and field, and 400-meter running track.
