Founded in 1833 and set in a stunning coastal location on the Isle of Man, King William’s College is a co-ed independent boarding school for ages 11-18. We are committed to nurturing individual potential and fostering a lifelong love for learning, preparing our students for success beyond College. Sections: King William’s College, is a co-ed independent boarding school for children aged 11-18 years old.
Extra Curricular Activities: We provide an education that offers a wide range of opportunities outside the classroom. Beyond academics, we offer diverse extracurricular activities including competitive sports, golf, football, music, drama, paddle boarding, Combined Cadet Force (CCF), horse riding, sailing, and more to enrich the student experience. Participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is also actively encouraged.

Facilities: The boarding community here at King William’s College is a vibrant, friendly and creative community. We have space for 100 boarders in total with separate facilities for girls and boys. Opting to board at College (occasional, weekly, or full-time) gives pupils the freedom to become more independent both socially and academically. They have unrivalled access to College facilities and members of staff. We have 30 acres of playing fields, an indoor swimming pool, a miniature rifle range, tennis and squash courts, and an all-weather astro pitch.
