Boarding School: Recently renovated, the boarding school welcomes its residents with all the comforts of a hotel in a warm, family environment. Each student has access in his room to a bathroom, an office space, as well as a storage space. The shared spaces include a common room with television dedicated to relaxation, a space for sharing and work and a restaurant.
We are very proud of our excellent sports facilities such as our 1500m2 gymnasium with its climbing wall, our 300m athletics track, our playground and many other facilities which allow our students to thrive outside of class.
Extracurricular Activities: We believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. The school offers many extracurricular activities for both primary and secondary school students. Our afterschool program caters to our younger students, while our Sports & Cultural Association helps our older students pursue their passions outside of class.
The After school program is for students from MS to CM2 and offers activities such as chess, theater, yoga, dance, painting, writing and reflection workshops (heroes, history, journalism), cooking, multi-sports, digital art, coding, robotics, taekwondo.
Summer and Science Camp: Our annual Summer Camp offers summer immersion in the English language for children of all nationalities aged 5 to 14, whether or not they attend École Jeannine Manuel in Paris. We offer various fun and educational activities: these take place entirely in English and are supervised by animators who are native English speakers.
Safety & Well-being: The safety and well-being of our students is primordial to all of us at École Jeannine Manuel. Alongside concrete security measures that protect and look after our students while they are on campus, our school also puts in place policies and programs that ensure their physical and mental well-being.
Engaged in the Resistance in London during the Second World War, Jeannine Manuel took part in the liberation of Paris in August 1944. She returned home convinced that fear stemming from ignorance is the source of conflicts between nations and cultures. Discover the vision of our founder and the history of our school.
In September 1954, the École Active Bilingue opened in a mansion on Avenue de la Bourdonnais in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.
Our Campuses: Located a few kilometers from the Lille metropolis, a dynamic European crossroads, the École Jeannine Manuel campus in Lille is less than two hours by train from the three European capitals of Paris, London and Brussels. It welcomes 975 students from all over the world from the Petite Section to the Terminal. Its recently renovated boarding school can accommodate up to 120 students and has exceptional facilities.
