Oslo International School, Norway

Welcome you to Oslo International School, where we provide a world-class education for students aged 3-18 in one of the world’s most beautiful, sustainable, safe, and liveable cities. As Head of School, I am proud to lead a dynamic and diverse community of students, staff, and leaders who are passionate about learning and committed to making a positive impact on the world.
Our experienced and caring staff is dedicated to supporting the academic, personal, and social development of every student, and we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom.
Learning:
Pre-School, Primary School, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary
School Fees: The oldest international school in Norway, OIS invests all of its school fees back into providing students with the highest quality educational offerings. We are funded independently without government support.
The OIS Board of Trustees reviews and sets school (and other applicable) fees annually. These fees are listed in the table below.
Library: The OIS Library is a 300 square metre space located in the heart of the school, containing an up-to-date collection of over 15,000 books and online resources. It is staffed by a full-time Librarian and a Reading Coordinator who provide assistance to students, staff and parents.
After School Activities: Our after-school activities programme provides our students with an opportunity to balance their academic studies and challenge themselves to develop a variety of skills that they enjoy and can use throughout life. We have a wide range to suit many tastes including sports (such as football, floorball, basketball and volleyball), science and technology (such as lego robotics, science club and kids concoctions) and arts and crafts (such as sand art, choir, dance and theatre).
Sports: There are several outdoor recreation areas around school, comprising two large playgrounds and two inner courtyards. Our youngest students have a dedicated play area with age-appropriate equipment, including tricycles and sandpit. The school also has use of a green field opposite the main playground, and an astro-turf pitch that belongs to the local football team.
